Amentum is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the Nation’s security and intelligence mission, specifically in the Cyber, Security, & Intel space.
Requirements
- Proficiency in ITIL-based Change, Problem, and Incident Management (preferred)
- Experience using ITSM tools (ServiceNow) for managing service management processes.
- Skilled in creating and presenting management reports and dashboards.
- Basic knowledge and experience with enterprise-level monitoring tools and dashboards.
- Fundamental understanding of ITIL principles.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Project, and Visio.
- Experience in financial services or other regulated industries (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis across multiple IT systems and databases to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, enabling data-driven decisions that align with organizational goals and enhance operational efficiency.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards, detailed reports, and data visualizations using business intelligence tools to communicate complex data insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Partner with business units and IT teams to gather requirements, understand operational challenges, and uncover opportunities to leverage data for process optimization, automation, and strategic planning.
- Contribute to the architecture, deployment, and ongoing management of scalable data management systems and workflows, ensuring that infrastructure supports current and future analytics needs.
- Implement and maintain robust data quality frameworks, including data cleansing, normalization, validation rules, and routine audits to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of datasets.
- Document data handling procedures, system workflows, metadata standards, and governance protocols to support knowledge transfer, regulatory compliance, and consistency across teams.
- Assist in defining, tracking, and refining key performance indicators (KPIs) and other success metrics by aligning analytical outputs with business objectives and departmental goals.

- Must have active Top-Secret clearance with SCI or TS with the ability to acquire SCI
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in network, distributed systems, IT services, workforce technology, and/or mainframe environments.
- Ability to work a 40-hour work week, normally Monday through Friday.
- Ability to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last-minute requests for overtime if needed.
- Ability to travel (5-10%) primarily within 75 miles.
