The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is seeking a Data Analyst Senior to support the reporting and data analytics needs of the division, specifically to build, create, modify, produce and manage program specific reporting services and tools, and to assess program effectiveness through qualitative and quantitative analyses.
Requirements
- Experience using principles of research, statistical analysis and report preparation using research resources and software applications
- Experience with data systems, reporting, and query tools, Excel, and data visualization
- Experience with data analytics: designing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and scorecards
- Experience assessing and documenting management reporting needs
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Considerable experience in program evaluation
- Strong analytical skills and continuous quality improvement (CQI) principles and trends
Responsibilities
- building, creating, modifying, producing and managing program specific reporting services and tools

- Selected candidate(s) must successfully pass a fingerprint-based criminal history background check
