ProMedica's Risk Management team needs to develop and maintain accurate methods for aggregating and reporting quality monitoring data to support continuous quality improvement initiatives by monitoring clinical outcomes and resource management across the healthcare delivery system.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (dashboards, graphs, formulas, pivot tables)
  • Experience with database software such as Access
  • Ability to navigate EPIC for chart reviews and data harvesting
  • Experience with reporting tools such as WEBI and financial applications like Strata
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and records processing
  • Knowledge of ICD10, MS-DRGs, CPT coding, SQL development, and data visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Ability to operate computer equipment with accuracy and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Manage routine data collection, integrity verification, and reporting for quality and safety data systems
  • Develop and monitor reports supporting process improvement, benchmarking, core measures, physician credentialing, clinical protocols, risk management, and infection prevention
  • Collaborate with care teams to provide accurate, visually represented data that monitors quality activities
  • Maintain data extract programs and ensure timely submission of data reports
  • Serve as the ProMedica liaison for various healthcare quality analysis applications and vendors, including Midas, Press Ganey, NHSN, and others
  • Design, evaluate, and improve clinical and non-clinical databases
  • Keep staff informed about data updates and serve as the liaison to external database providers

Other

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, healthcare analytics, or related fields
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Maintain confidentiality of all data and reports in accordance with hospital policies and regulations
