Checkr is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to drive financial strategy and operational efficiency through data modeling, analysis, and reporting, providing data-driven insights to influence critical business decisions and impact profitability.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with modern data tools such as dbt
- Strong foundation in statistical analysis and data modeling techniques
- Experience translating complex business questions into analytical projects and delivering actionable insights
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core financial data models and reporting systems to track revenue, costs, and key business metrics, supporting financial planning and analysis processes
- Conduct in-depth analyses of business trends, unit economics, and pricing strategies to identify growth opportunities and operational efficiencies
- Design, build, and maintain data models and pipelines within the business intelligence stack to ensure accurate and timely data delivery for financial analysis
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Finance leadership to inform business strategies, product pricing, and operational
- The cross-functional teams to translate business needs into analytical solutions and actionable recommendations
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy through rigorous validation and quality checks
Other
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, data science, revenue analytics, or similar roles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for solving ambiguous problems
- Experience working within finance, fintech, or SaaS environments is preferred
