Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise in data acquisition, investigation, manipulation, and analysis to support the company's insurance operations.
- Research marketplace competitors, developing data-driven strategies.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Collaborate with actuarial and IT teams to enhance data processes and improve decision-making.
- Utilize geodemographic data to formulate growth strategies and enhance profitability.
- Collaborate with actuarial and information systems teams to develop data models and analytical tools.
- Implement internal data process improvements by automating manual tasks, optimizing data workflows, and redesigning templates for greater accuracy and efficiency.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, or a related field (advanced degrees preferred)
- Minimum of five years of experience in insurance industry analytics, data sciences, or related roles (exceptions may be considered for candidates with a master's degree and relevant experience)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical ideas to non-technical audiences
