Requirements

  • Proficiency in data extraction, management, and analysis from multiple sources
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and industry-standard data tools
  • Experience with Databricks is highly preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing processes and solutions related to a wide array of data sets used for data/text mining, analysis, modeling, and predictive analytics.
  • Utilizing advanced mathematical, statistical, querying, and reporting techniques, the analyst creates dashboards, algorithms, and reports that monitor and improve business performance.
  • Compile, manage, and analyze large and complex data sets from various systems and applications with minimal supervision
  • Design and establish processes for monitoring, tracking, and trending data insights using diverse systems and tools
  • Prepare clear, concise reports, summaries, and analyses to support management decision-making
  • Assist in the development and automation of regular reports to support strategic initiatives
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and potential issues through detailed analysis of report results

Other

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Proven experience working within a cross-functional, highly matrixed organization
  • Strong familiarity with Texas Medicaid and Managed Care environments is strongly preferred
  • Communicate complex analytical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
