MaineGeneral Health is looking for a Data Analyst to evaluate, compile, and analyze data to support Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) contracts for supplies and purchased services.
Requirements
- Proficiency with MMIS system, GPO contract database, Benchmark databases, and Implant database.
- Experience with Contract/Data Analyst related work.
Responsibilities
- Performs opportunity analyses, benchmark evaluations and market share reports utilizing and meshing both internal and external databases, analytical tools and techniques and uses comparative data, market data, and other key contract drivers requiring the analysis of significant issue identification and resolution to present opportunity, cost/benefit analysis reports.
- Develops and tracks metrics via dashboard to implement, track, and report the performance metrics for conversions, savings and contracting- must Maintain reporting and analysis documentation to ensure accurate analysis and reporting.
- Interprets financial trends and business/economic forecasts in relation to the performance metrics and provides recommendations to leadership
- Reviews proposals against previous history, actual and estimated expenditures, and established rates to determine price reasonableness or to determine a negotiation position.
- Processes complex rebates with monitoring of abnormal patterns.
- Analyze performance of rebate offerings against anticipated performance.
