Steves & Sons is looking to solve data analysis and management problems by hiring a Data Analyst to optimize SQL Server performance, design dashboards, and collect requirements from management or end users.
Requirements
- Must possess advanced SQL knowledge
- Familiar with business intelligence reporting tools/software; knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is a plus
- Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and have advanced knowledge of Excel
Responsibilities
- SQL Server management, performance optimization, and the management of replication processes
- Use software reporting tools to design dashboards and comprehensive reports used across multiple lines of business
- Collect requirements from management or end users, engage developers to make changes, and assist to deploy applications
- Enter and update databases with manufacturing data and complex BOM automation rules
- Liaison with programmers and work with them as data needs change
- Organizing and maintaining electronic records
- Analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Other
- Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or other technical degree is required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and customer service focus
- Is self-motivated and comfortable working independently and in a team environment
- Extremely organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Must be located in San Antonio or surrounding areas
