Requirements
- Experience in accessing and analyzing data, preferably through the use of SQL
- Knowledge and practical use of Python or other scripting languages for data analysis
- Ability to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns in data and produce relevant visualization
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills and the desire to learn
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics or a related major
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
- Experience with data science tools and libraries
Responsibilities
- Assist with data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing for analytics projects
- Support the development of machine learning models and evaluate their performance
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and visualization to derive insights
- Research and implement data science tools and libraries for project enhancement
- Assist with documentation and reporting of data science workflows and findings
- Contribute to the development and deployment of generative AI models for business applications
- Collaborate on the creation of dashboards and automated reports using data science techniques
Other
- Current enrollment in Information Technology or related degree program
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search
- Full-time availability for the internship
