Emerson is looking to build and scale centralized analytics capabilities for its global supply chain organization, focusing on developing robust data models, automating reporting processes, and laying the foundation for advanced business rules to support Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain planning processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to design and implement automated workflows and dashboards.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into business insights.
- Experience with data modeling and architecture.
- Experience with analytics and insights development.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable data models to support supply chain analytics and decision-making.
- Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources to create a unified view of supply chain performance.
- Analyze complex supply chain data to identify trends, patterns, and root causes of operational challenges.
- Develop actionable insights and recommendations to optimize inventory, procurement, and production planning.
- Build automated dashboards and reporting tools to streamline recurring analytics tasks.
- Collaborate with planning teams to define and implement business rules for MRP systems.
- Support long-term initiatives to enhance forecasting and planning algorithms.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Supply Chain Management, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
- 10+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably within supply chain or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
