Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data layers using AWS and Snowflake to enable advanced analytics and support enterprise-wide data initiatives.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in AWS data services (e.g., S3, Glue, Redshift, IAM, KMS) and Snowflake.
- Proven experience designing and implementing secure data architectures in cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts (ex: VPC, Endpoints, Private access, Direct link, VPC-SC)
- Strong understanding of data governance, compliance (e.g., CCPA, GDPR), and security frameworks.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience with security monitoring, auditing, and incident response in data platforms.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end-to-end data and analytics platforms on AWS, Snowflake and GCP.
- Design security architecture for all data platform components, ensuring compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards.
- Define and enforce security best practices for data encryption, access control, identity management, and data masking.
- Collaborate with InfoSec, Infrastructure provisioning, and compliance teams to integrate security into the data platform lifecycle.
- Lead the development of secure data ingestion, transformation, and storage layers.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and solutions.
- Ensure data security, governance, and compliance across cloud environments.
