Santander is looking to leverage data-driven insights to drive smarter business decisions in Retail Banking and Transformation, and is seeking a Data and Analytics intern to support this effort.
Requirements
- Area of Study: Data Science, Economics, Finance or equivalent quantitative field
- Coursework or experience in forecasting, econometrics, or data modeling. (Preferred)
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for presentations. (Preferred)
- Familiarity with coding languages such as Python and SQL for data analysis and automation. (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Supporting data engineering and automation efforts to ensure high-quality, integrated datasets for forecasting and analysis.
- Applying predictive modeling and statistical techniques to improve customer targeting and acquisition efficiency.
- Developing visual dashboards and reports to communicate insights to senior stakeholders and inform strategic decision-making.
Other
- A graduate student with an expected graduation date between either December 2026 or May/June 2027.
- Cumulative GPA is 3.0 or above.
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and courage.
- Strong English communication skills both written and spoken required.
- Ability to work independently on special projects.
