Requirements
Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets, including data cleaning, transformation, and exploration
Technical Familiarity: Exposure to or interest in learning tools such as Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, Amazon S3, and Alteryx
Programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL
Data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
Machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques
Data mining and data warehousing concepts
Cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Azure
Responsibilities
Work with business partners and mentors to review the business question, project objectives, available data, and to gather requirements to understand the best analytical approach
Work within our data repositories to assemble, manage, and investigate relevant data
Quantify information and sort it for analysis, investigate and highlight trends
Collect, identify, analyze, and interpret business data to enable strategic decision-making for business needs and requirements
Effectively communicate with cross-functional partners and internal teams to deliver solutions in a timely fashion, using storytelling to present data in a persuasive manner
Gain feedback from partners and iteratively fine tune an approach to sufficiently resolve the question and maximize business impact
Present their contributions to colleagues and business leaders as a capstone exercise

Currently enrolled in a graduate program (Master’s or PhD) in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
Expected graduation date between December 2026 and Spring 2027 for Master’s students or concurrently enrolled in a PhD program
Minimum GPA of 3.0
