Transamerica is looking to advance data governance, requirements gathering, and AI use case development within its Data Analytics team to support strategic initiatives and gain exposure to enterprise data practices.
Requirements
- Basic to intermediate experience with Excel and SQL.
- Exposure to Python, Alteryx, AI, Cloud-technologies.
- Passion for learning and keeping pace with the latest advances in data science and machine learning.
Responsibilities
- Support migration of global finance systems to US-based systems.
- Contribute to systems mapping and data flow exercises by analyzing large datasets, identifying trends, and generating actionable insights.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, and visualization, as well as supporting predictive modeling and performance measurement initiatives.
- Engage in continuous learning opportunities about emerging finance technologies and systems, while offering support across finance transformation projects.
- Contribute to business analysis by comprehending financial workflows and participating in project planning.
- Analyze large datasets, identifying trends, and generating actionable insights.

- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in information systems, data analytics, or other IT-type degree.
- Internships are not available for students who have completed their college education or who will graduate prior to the conclusion of the internship.
