Brightly Software, Inc. is looking for a motivated college student to join their Smart Infrastructure team as an intern to assist with data analytics and artificial intelligence projects, providing hands-on experience with real-world data and AI concepts in a business context.
Requirements
- Basic Python programming (data manipulation, simple scripts).
- Understanding of data structures (lists, dictionaries, arrays).
- Familiarity with data analytics concepts (descriptive statistics, visualization).
- Awareness of AI fundamentals (machine learning basics, common use cases).
- Experience with SQL or any database query language.
- Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Qlik, or similar).
- Coursework or projects in AI/ML or data science.
Responsibilities
- Assist in data preparation and cleaning for analytics projects.
- Support the development of dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools.
- Work with team members to analyze datasets and derive actionable insights.
- Contribute to basic Python scripts for data manipulation and automation.
- Explore and document AI/ML concepts relevant to ongoing projects.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and engineers on data pipeline improvements.
Other
- Rising senior, graduating in 2027 pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical or quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Hourly pay range for this position $28 - $33 per hour, based off of your projected graduation year.
