The company, Citi, is seeking a Data Analytics Lead Analyst to liaise between business users and technologists, and to deliver high-quality insights and support business decisions by analyzing complex financial data and identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Requirements
- Advanced expertise in Business intelligence, data analytical and reporting tools (SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI etc).
- Strong understanding of relational databases.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for data analysis and automation.
- Experience performing in-depth data analysis and data profiling activities
- Experience with AI/ML tools and techniques in data analytics (e.g., machine learning algorithms, natural language processing, predictive modeling).
- Practical experience applying AI/ML techniques in data analysis projects is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Oracle databases
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial data, identify trends, patterns, anomalies to provide actionable insights to business units such as finance, risk and operations.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, reporting, analysis.
- Develop stored procedure, triggers and functions in Oracle to automate data-related processes.
- Design and implement reporting solutions, utilizing SQL, scripting language and other data analytical tools to deliver meaningful and accurate data visualizations.
- Leveraging programming languages(Python etc) to automate manual tasks, develop data reconciliation and data quality checks.
- Develop data analytical reports/dashboards based on business requirement.
- Address and resolve complex data-related issues, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Other
- 8-10 years of relevant hands-on work experience as Data Analytics Lead.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Data Science or Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or other similar degrees.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong consulting skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and techniques to solve dynamic problems; excellent teamwork skills
- Experience identifying and implementing process improvement
