Citi is looking to solve the problem of consistently producing timely, accurate, and complete data to inform business-as-usual operations and risk analyses, by moving away from siloed and complex processes, legacy systems, and activity-based metrics.
Requirements
- 6+ years experience using codes for statistical modeling of large data sets
Responsibilities
- Develops detailed IT work plans, schedules; project estimates, resource plans and status reports.
- Interfaces with senior project staff and client senior management teams regarding status of projects.
- Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of IT project leadership.
- Contributes to data analytics standards around which others will operate.
- Applies in-depth understanding of how data analytics collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function.
- Resolves occasionally complex and highly variable issues.
- Produces detailed analysis of issues where the best course of action is not evident from the information available, but actions must be recommended/taken.
Other
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
- Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.
- Ability to identify and escalate potential risks and issues timely to keep project on track.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets.
