Rambus is seeking to hire an exceptional Data & AI Intern to join their IT team to support IT-led initiatives that apply AI to improve business processes such as ticket triaging, resource planning, or customer support, and to assist in preparing datasets for AI experiments focused on real-world business challenges.
Requirements
- Foundational knowledge of SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Exposure to machine learning concepts and frameworks such as scikit-learn or TensorFlow.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and their data/AI services.
- Understanding of enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) and how AI can be embedded into business workflows.
- Awareness of data governance, quality standards, and responsible AI practices.
- Exposure to business use cases such as intelligent automation, predictive analytics, or service optimization.
Responsibilities
- Support IT-led initiatives that apply AI to improve business processes such as ticket triaging, resource planning, or customer support.
- Assist in preparing datasets for AI experiments focused on real-world business challenges.
- Participate in workshops and brainstorming sessions to explore AI use cases in areas like automation, personalization, and operational efficiency.
- Help document AI project outcomes and learnings to inform future IT strategy and innovation efforts.
- Support the creation of dashboards and visual reports using visualization tools.
- Explore basic AI applications such as sentiment analysis, image classification, or chatbot development.
- Engage in learning sessions on ethical AI, model bias, and responsible data use.

- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong analytical thinking and curiosity to explore how data and AI can solve real business problems.

- The US salary range for this full-time position is $25.90 to $48.10.
