Nissan is looking for a Data and Analytics Intern to help interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and data science algorithms, and manage data across multiple business domains to identify process improvement opportunities and increase data quality.
Requirements
- Have knowledge of databases, SQL, and programming (Python)
- Have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail
- Tableau or PowerBI experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques and data science algorithms
- Analyze and manage data across multiple business domains such as Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and Purchasing
- Acquire data, profile and clean in collaboration with data stewards
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Proactively analyze data to increase quality as it relates to accuracy, completeness, consistency, integrity, timeliness, conformity, and validity
Other
- Must be currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management, or Data Science
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Have strong oral and written communication skills
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Ability to perform work onsite in Franklin, TN
