Supermicro is looking to safeguard critical data assets and support its enterprise risk team by analyzing data trends and identifying potential exposure points in enterprise systems.
Requirements
- Proficient in Excel, SQL, Python, and Tableau or other BI tools
- Demonstrated experience with data trend analysis through academic projects or portfolio work
- Familiarity with or interest in enterprise computing environments, Microsoft Windows and Linux
- Completion of a Business Intelligence Analytics program
- Experience with Vulnerability Management, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and Asset Inventory modules
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure data handling practices
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau
Responsibilities
- Monitor Supermicro’s data infrastructure for anomalies and vulnerabilities using Vulnerability Management, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and Asset Inventory modules and Microsoft Excel
- Develop actionable dashboards and reports using Tableau to visualize trends in data security and system performance
- Assist in investigating internal incidents and external risks tied to product and operational data
- Analyze customer behavior, supply chain risk, churn trends, and inventory patterns to identify potential exposure points in enterprise systems
- Apply cybersecurity principles to data handling, including privacy protection and secure query practices
- Working under the guidance of a senior person, automate monthly reporting process
- Use PowerShell, Bash, and Python for automation as necessary
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in a data, or technology-related field preferred
- Internship, freelance, or project work involving data integrity or system analytics encouraged
- Strong attention to detail, a methodical approach to problem solving, and willingness to grow within the cybersecurity landscape
- Ability to communicate clearly across cross-functional teams and document findings effectively
- Prior customer service or retail experience is a plus, showcasing stakeholder engagement skills
