PNC is looking for a Data/API Analyst to help resolve data consistency and quality issues, design and update Rest API and Kafka event services, and build integration solutions with various data sources.
Requirements
Oracle databases with SQL programming
SOAP Web services, XML, JSON, XSD, WSDL, Postman
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail
Accurate technical writing skills
Preferred: UML, BPMN, workflow design
Preferred: Teradata, MongoDB, IBM Db2
Responsibilities
Ability to translate business questions into analytical problems and effectively triage and resolve data consistency and quality issues
Work with consuming applications to help resolve their data-related issues
Design new as well as update Rest API and Kafka event Services
Define endpoints, data formats, and authentication methods, while also considering factors like security, performance, and best practices
Understand business requirements and translate them to API Design
Build integration solution with IBM MDM AE product, Mongo DB and Kafka
Implement API design best practices and use modern API design patterns
