The Oxford University Clinical Research Unit (OUCRU) Nepal requires a Data Associate to support the development, implementation, and management of data systems for research studies, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and reliable results.
Requirements
- Experience in working on Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems such as REDCap.
- Experience in working in statistical analytical tools such as SPSS.
- Experience in working with large health-related datasets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft tools.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and maintaining data acquisition tools for research studies.
- Help maintain data integrity, accuracy and completeness by performing data-related tasks such as flagging inconsistencies or missing information.
- Support the verification and cleaning of research data.
- Assist in applying data validation rules and edit checks within Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems.
- Conduct routine data audits and follow up with study teams to resolve issues.
- Generate and update tables and charts of the indicators of interest for routine monitoring purposes.
- Prepare datasets for analysis through data cleaning and transformation.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Science, Health Informatics or a related field
- At least 1-year experience in related field
- Duty Station: Jhamsikhel, Lalitpur, Nepal, with regular travel to local community pharmacies.
- Tenure: 12 months with possibility of extension
