HaloMD is looking for a Data Auditor III to ensure the accuracy, integrity, timeliness, and compliance of organizational data across multiple platforms and business processes. The role aims to proactively audit data flows, monitor time-sensitive processes, detect inconsistencies, and collaborate with teams to remediate issues before they impact operations.
Requirements
- Advanced SQL skills, including stored procedure creation and optimization.
- Strong experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouses.
- Familiarity with Power BI and Grafana
- Knowledge of data governance principles and compliance regulations (HIPAA, GDPR).
- Proven ability to work quickly, independently, and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Understanding the end-to-end business processes in a data-driven organization.
Responsibilities
- Identify inconsistencies, inefficiencies, and potential data quality risks.
- Develop and execute comprehensive data auditing plans.
- Validate data transformations, stored procedures, and system outputs against source records.
- Audit data ingestion processes to ensure completeness, timeliness, and accuracy.
- Audit all operational workflows and implement controls to safeguard process integrity.
- Monitor other critical processes where timeliness is essential, ensuring deadlines and SLAs are consistently met.
- Document all audit activities, findings, and resolutions, maintaining strict, detailed logs of audits for compliance and historical reference.
Other
- 6-8 years of experience in data auditing, data analysis, or database quality assurance.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field required; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
