Requirements
Knowledge of core design and engineering principles, with emphasis on IT and data center infrastructure.
Experience with data center design and engineering.
Ability to deliver quality designs on time and provide ongoing support throughout the product life-cycle.
Ability to work on their own and proactively under minimal supervision.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Knowledge of emerging technologies across the entire IT stack, from servers and storage to networking and cooling.
Experience with hardware accelerators and network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Architect and optimize data centers specifically tailored for AI/ML workloads, encompassing everything from the network infrastructure/rack layouts, selection/integration of hardware accelerators.
Evaluate emerging technologies across the entire IT stack, from servers and storage to networking and cooling.
Partner with internal teams to identify and resolve performance in production environments.
Analyze system-level metrics to pinpoint areas for improvement, and implement solutions that optimize resource utilization, reduce latency, and increase overall system throughput.
Build relationships with hardware partners to understand their technology roadmaps and product development cycles.
Provide feedback on our unique requirements and use cases, influencing the design of future generations of network equipment, server racks, and accelerators.
Ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements and serve as an expert in your specialty (e.g., cooling, electrical).
Other
Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Systems Engineering. or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in data center design and engineering.
Ability to work on their own and proactively under minimal supervision.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to generate ideas, communicate recommendations to senior-level executives and drive implementation alongside facilities technicians.
