Booz Allen's Navy client needs a Data Collection Analyst to collect and organize data from disparate sources to inform senior programmatic decisions leading to future acquisitions of unmanned maritime missions
Requirements
- Knowledge of shipboard and maritime safety regulations
- Experience with data collection in either a Test and Evaluation (T&E) setting or a vehicle maintenance setting
- Experience with Unmanned Maritimes Systems such as USV, UUV, ROVs, or Gliders
- Possession of strong organizational skills
- Ability to pay strict attention to detail
- Ability to effectively communicate both up and down the chain of command
- Data analytics experience
Responsibilities
- Use your technical knowledge and analytical mindset to support client and stakeholder relationships
- Generate cross-functional solutions through collection, interpretation, evaluation, and analysis of large data sets
- Apply communication skills and data analytics experience by providing timely, easy to understand, and well-organized reports for various clients
- Help establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive technical outcomes
- Apply data visualization through different formats such as graphs, tables, and PowerPoint slides
- Collect and organize the data on leading edge unmanned capabilities
- Merge systems engineering, test and evaluation, and cybersecurity data to create organized, comprehensive data repositories
Other
- Ability to get underway and go to sea for up to two weeks at a time
- Ability to participate in safety briefs such as pre-underway safety briefs
- Ability to participate in at-sea and shoreside data collection events
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Secret clearance
