Shure is seeking to support its sustainability goals through data-driven insights and strategies, and is looking for a Data-Driven Sustainability Intern to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to sustainability initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in data collection, organization, and analysis.
- Experience with data analysis tools and software such as Excel, Tableau, or similar.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passionate about sustainability and making a positive environmental impact.
Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and maintain data related to various sustainability metrics including energy usage, waste management, and carbon emissions.
- Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Identify and document key data sources, data collection methods, and data management procedures.
- Develop comprehensive business process documentation of data requirements, flow, and needs, ensuring clarity and consistency across all sustainability projects.
- Maintain databases and dashboards to track sustainability performance.
- Assist in the preparation of sustainability reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
