CAA is seeking a developer with excellent data engineering and full stack skills to join their product development team to design and build software experiences for mobile and web that are uniquely valuable for CAA's diverse, global, and high-energy entertainment industry culture of agents, executives, artists, and business partners.
Requirements
- JavaScript/Typescript with a history of delivering production applications
- familiarity in frontend frameworks such as React/Angular/Vue
- backend frameworks like Node/Express
- experience in the Azure data stack (Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Tabular Model / DAX, Microsoft Fabric)
- strong experience with complementary open-source data technologies such as Hadoop, Amazon Glue, Spark, Airflow
- real SQL and NoSQL production experience
- expertise with SQL Server, Azure Synapse, MongoDB
Responsibilities
- design and deliver the data infrastructure (warehouse, schema, pipelines, OLTP, ETL) and tooling that supports CAA’s portfolio of applications and analytics tools
- building and maintaining supporting services for that infrastructure and the tooling that our users will be using to maintain the data
- develop new data pipelines ,APIs, and data management tools
- support the end-to-end lifecycle: design, deployment, test, operations, monitoring and support
- directly interact with the people who are using your applications
- maintaining projects using a distributed version control system such as Git and GitHub
- automated deployment of pipelines and schema into production environments
Other
- equivalent professional experience, which means between one to three years of delivering production solutions
- passion for and experience shipping and maintaining production software products to business users
- strong verbal, written and visual presentation skills
- attention to detail, solving problems, simplicity, quality, and moving quickly are highly prized
- occasional travel to company meetings and events
