Requirements
- Proficiency in ETL processes, utilizing cloud-based tools such as Azure Data Factory, AWS Data Pipe
- Proficiency in using Azure or AWS cloud based services like blob storage/S3, Azure SQL/RDS
- Familiarity with relevant cloud services like Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse
- Expertise in advanced SQL, with the ability to write efficient and optimized queries in both OLTP and OLAP datasets
- In-depth knowledge of OLTP and OLAP relational data modeling techniques
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, including star and snowflake schema data models
- Strong experience with MS SQL Server or other RDBMS platforms
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust ETL processes using tools such as SSIS and Azure Data Factory
- Apply expertise in OLTP and OLAP relational data modeling to design and maintain data structures
- Implement and maintain data warehousing techniques, including the creation of star and snowflake schema data models
- Utilize advanced SQL skills to optimize and automate data retrieval, manipulation, and aggregation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable and reusable data solutions
- Continuously monitor and improve data quality, integrity, and consistency across various data sources and platforms

- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and work well within a team
