At Leidos, the National Security Sector is looking for a Data Engineer to support the INDOPACOM J2 JIOC mission, providing direct intelligence support to all forces assigned to the USINDOPACOM commander.
Requirements
- Proficiency in data visualization and graphical applications, including Microsoft Office (Power BI) and Tableau.
- Experience with major data science languages, such as R and Python.
- Ability to manage and merge disparate data sources using R, Python, or SQL.
- Prior experience with large data Multi-INT analytics, ML, and automated predictive analytics.
- Experience supporting USINDOPACOM.
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience with backend database technologies
Responsibilities
- Conducting data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis to transform data into narrative products for informed decision-making.
- Building AI and ML-based tools to automate processes, such as recommendation engines and lead scoring systems.
- Designing and operating data management systems, collaborating with data users to optimize architectures and systems.
- Selecting and configuring backend database technologies and optimizing data pipeline infrastructure for intelligence needs.
- Implementing automated processes for integrating various datasets, conducting scalable data research, and developing scripts to handle data efficiently.
- Collaborating with collection managers and computer scientists to design new data processes and generate algorithms for automated collection strategies.
- Evaluating collection criteria and recommending data integration solutions to support the Tasking, Collection, Production, Exploitation, and Dissemination process.

- Current TS/SCI Clearance.
- Bachelors degree and 12+ years of relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Participating in briefings, meetings, conferences, and working groups to provide advice and resolve issues as requested by the Government.
- Ability to work in a team environment
