Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta) is looking to build the next evolution in social technology by moving beyond 2D screens toward immersive experiences like augmented and virtual reality. This role will support that mission by architecting, implementing, and deploying new data models and processes, performing data analysis for business insights, and managing data warehouse plans.
Requirements
- Programming in Python or Java
- SQL
- Statistical modeling techniques such as regressions, k-means, knn, etc
- Anomaly detection techniques (data quality, feature drift, etc)
- Visualization tools such as unidash, tableau, quicksite, or similar tool
Responsibilities
- Architect, implement and deploy new data models and data processes in production.
- Perform data analysis to generate business insights.
- Interface with Engineers, Product Managers and Product Analysts to understand product goals and data needs.
- Build data expertise and own data quality for allocated areas of ownership.
- Manage data warehouse plans for a product or a group of products.
- Support critical data processes running in production.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics or related field
- Requires completion of a university-level course, research project or internship involving the following:
