Woodforest National Bank is looking to solve data engineering problems by building and maintaining automated pipelines, implementing source control and branching strategies, and developing database programs.
Requirements
- 6+ years’ experience in a SQL development role
- 1+ Years experience in Azure Data Factory Development
- 1+ Years experience in Azure Devops Pipeline Management
- 1+ Years experience in GIT
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft database and reporting technologies and tools including Office, SharePoint, SQL Server Integration and Reporting Services and Management Studio, Visual Studio, and Team Foundation Server
- Strong data analysis and mapping skills
- Experience with SQL platform
Responsibilities
- Serves as a senior resource to junior team members, assisting with questions, obstacles, and issue resolution.
- Creating and maintaining Pipelines in Azure Data Factory.
- Creating and maintaining effective CI/CD methodologies.
- Creation of data mart databases used for business reporting and operational processes.
- Creation of shared dataset used by the business and other team members for self-service reporting.
- Building and maintaining automated pipelines in Azure Devops
- Building and maintaining ELT processes in the SQL catalog

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage timelines and prioritize workload in a high-pressure, results-oriented environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
- Flexibility to provide after hours and weekend support on occasion to support business needs
