House Rx is looking to solve the problem of making specialty medications more accessible and affordable for patients with chronic illnesses by empowering clinics with advanced technology and dedicated support.
Requirements
- 2+ years of combined experience in data engineering and data science
- hands-on experience using contemporary data engineering tools such as Airflow, DBT, SQLMesh, Snowflake, MotherDuck, Great Expectations and similar technologies
- deeply skilled in SQL and data modelling
- exposure to at least one programming language, preferably Python
- strong understanding of core data concepts including ELT, data lakes, data warehouses, backfill strategies, and data quality
- expertise in data modeling including star and snowflake schemas, normal forms, and the differences between transactional and analytical models
- some experience working within a cloud environment (e.g., AWS or Google Cloud)
Responsibilities
- building out our data warehouse from ELT of new data
- setting a high bar for data quality to design and implementation of efficient, flexible and trusted data models
- transform complex healthcare data into actionable insights
- write and maintain the models in our platform on a day to day basis
- drive technical excellence, ensuring that we have a high bar for the performance and readability of our DBT models
- ensuring our data ingestion is robust
- identifying data quality issues early in our pipelines
