The Cyber Data Analytics chapter within Enterprise Cybersecurity (ECS) organization is seeking a Data Engineer to build data solutions and support the Office of the CISO / Cyber Regulatory, Risk, and Policy Team goals and objectives

Requirements

• Experience with one or more RDBMS, preferably Snowflake
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with NiFi, Python, APIs, shell scripts for data movement
• Experience in building data ingestion and transformation processes
• Knowledge of DBT is desired
• Experience with data engineering
• Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum and Kanban)

Responsibilities

• Collaborates and participates in cross-functional agile development teams which includes design, development, testing and deployment
• Works closely with Technical Lead/Architects to ensure that solutions are consistent with IT Roadmap
• Develops data ingestion, data integration, and data visualization code
• Troubleshoots and fix any issues reported on data issues and performance
• Documents testing observations and take aways
• Presents findings, opportunities and outcome to tech leads and other team members
• Adhering to engineering best practices such as code and design reviews

Other

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent and 2+ years of relevant work experience in data engineering
• Ability to work independently to bring tasks/stories to completion
• Working onsite is important for our business strategy and our culture
• Most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office
• Must adhere to numerous state laws governing securities, investment and retirement-related financial activities
