A local bank in Hawaii is looking to solve data integration, dashboard development, and business intelligence problems
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Tableau, SQL, and business intelligence tools
- Familiarity with R, Python, and statistical computing packages
- Experience with AWS, Azure, Snowflake, and big data platforms is a plus
- Experience with large, data-driven projects and data modeling is a plus

Responsibilities
- Join and manipulate data from multiple sources (relational databases, big data platforms like Hadoop, Hive, Splunk)
- Develop and deliver operational metrics, reports, and executive dashboards using Tableau, SSRS, ServiceNow, Performance Analytics, ThoughtSpot, etc.
- Gather requirements from management and subject matter experts to deliver effective solutions
- Build interactive reports and custom dashboards, including ‘one-click’ actions and calculated metrics
- Apply data science skills (R, Python, SQL) to develop advanced solutions and actionable insights
- Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders, exposing areas for improvement and the impact of financial investments
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to create value and efficiency
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Must be located in Hawaii to be considered
