As a data engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll help build advanced technology solutions and implement data engineering activities on some of the most mission-driven projects in the industry. You’ll deploy and develop pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with SQL, R, Java, or Python
- Experience working with the ETL process
- Knowledge of different data types and the different sources of data
- Knowledge of modeling and how to make that data usable for meeting mission requirements
- Ability to manipulate data across different tables
- Ability to collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders to refine data models and ontology mapping
- Ability to utilize code repositories such as Git, to manage and version control development efforts

- Experience building scalable ETL and ELT workflows with Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure
