Centex Technologies is seeking to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-native solutions in support of defense and government projects
Requirements
- Strong experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, SQL, and big data frameworks
- Cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Data warehousing and modeling expertise
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala
- CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8140.03-compliant certification
- Familiarity with SBIR technologies, DevSecOps methodologies, AWS resource management, GitLab admin
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, Spark, Airflow
- Manage and tune relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases
- Build and maintain solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena), Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake), and GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage)
- Implement data warehousing and modeling practices (Kimball, Inmon methodologies)
- Ensure compliance with DoD 8140.03 requirements (Security+ or equivalent)
- Collaborate with platform engineers and visibility teams to manage AWS resources and source control (GitLab)

- Active DoD Secret Clearance (Required)
- 4+ years in data engineering, data science, or comparable role
- Full-time, on-site role in Austin, TX
