The Disney Decision Science & Integration (DDSI) team is seeking a Data Engineer to develop, implement, enhance, and support data solutions by providing data pipeline and database engineering services for various development and sustainment projects, ad-hoc requests, prototyping, and research initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience with ELT/ETL data pipeline development and maintenance
- Proficiency in SQL coding
- Experience and expertise using Python, Snowflake and/or Postgres
- Prior experience gathering and refining data requirements
- Experience leveraging job scheduling software like Apache Airflow
- Experience developing in a multi deployment environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) leveraging DevOps procedures for code deployment/promotion
- Experience managing and deploying code using a source control product such as GitLab/GitHub

- This role communicates data engineering progress to the project leadership team and actively participates in meetings and discussions.
- Bachelor's degree in Advanced Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
- Master’s degree preferred in Advanced Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
- Experience and/or familiarity with Disney Theme Parks and Resorts data, specifically related to resort reservations, dining reservations, or theme park attendance
