GE Aerospace is looking to transform billing data extracted from cloud tools into a consumable format for cloud consumers, and develop scalable data solutions to meet diverse business needs.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Experience with AWS services such as Glue, S3, Lambda, Athena, and Quicksight.
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining data pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, including AWS and Azure, and architecture principles.
- Foundational knowledge of scripting languages, especially Python.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI and Quicksight.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
Responsibilities
- Participate in technical and business discussions concerning future data architecture directions.
- Assist in analyzing, designing, and developing roadmaps, design patterns, and implementation strategies aligned with current and future states.
- Gather and analyze data to develop architectural requirements at the project level.
- Support the development of data and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented and reusable.
- Design and optimize data pipelines for efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and architecture diagrams.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards across all data platforms.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience, or an Associate’s degree with at least 7 years of experience, or a High School Diploma with at least 9 years of professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data engineering.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (sponsorship not available).
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead collaborative efforts.
