United States Senate Federal Credit Union is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to lead and shape greenfield projects, building new financial systems from the ground up to improve member financial wellness.
Requirements
- Demonstrated strength in SQL, data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing.
- Experience in cloud data architecture and engineering.
- Coding proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Scala, Spark, Java, etc.).
- Familiarity with modern orchestration tooling (Apache Airflow, Dagster, etc.)
- Familiarity with data warehouse architecture and ability to debug, optimize, and fine-tune warehouse performance
- Practical experience or knowledge with Machine Learning/AI models is a plus.
- Proven experience with open-source ML frameworks (TensorFlow, Pytorch, etc.) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines from a variety of source systems.
- Develop scheduled jobs for data processing and reporting.
- Automate tasks to improve system efficiency.
- Implement and manage SQL databases.
- Develop and maintain data warehouse solutions.
- Build data models that support reporting on member growth, loan performance, and operational metrics
- Establish data governance around data assets to ensure consistent, high-quality data products that rely on data infrastructure.
