AcuityMD is looking to accelerate access to innovative medical technologies by empowering MedTech companies with comprehensive insights into product utilization, customer adoption variations, and new opportunities for physicians to enhance patient care. The Data Engineer will be responsible for building, refining, and extending AcuityMD's data assets and product offerings to deliver reliable, high-confidence insights that power their MedTech-specific modules.
Requirements
- Proficiency in building data transformations and pipelines using programming languages such as Python
- Strong SQL skills with experience exploring, transforming, and analyzing data within relational databases
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a solid understanding of math and statistics applied to data challenges
- Experience in documenting schemas, data product usage, and technical concepts for internal stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design solutions, validation frameworks, and benchmarks
Responsibilities
- Model new data and enhance existing data products with quantitative rigor to solve customer problems and ensure data correctness and interpretability
- Transform and integrate raw data from multiple sources into high-quality, well-documented data and intelligence products
- Apply data modeling and statistical techniques to improve data quality and derive actionable insights
- Collaborate directly with product managers and stakeholders to design, validate, and benchmark data solutions
- Develop and maintain automated batch data pipelines using Python and SQL, incorporating quality checks
- Document technical and quantitative concepts, schemas, and data usage guidelines for internal teams
- Continuously improve data workflows to support the evolving needs of the platform and clients

- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a data or analytical role for Junior/Mid-Level candidates; 5+ years for Senior-level candidates
