WESTconsin Credit Union is looking to solve the problem of managing and leveraging their data effectively to achieve financial wellness for their members and to improve their internal operations. This involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust data systems and strategies.
Requirements
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure), SQL, Python and experience with data lakes, warehouse architecture, and Power BI tools
- 3 years of Data Engineer work experience
Responsibilities
- Drives the overall design of databases and data warehouses to ensure interoperability with applications and other system solutions
- Develops and maintains data model structures, extract transform and load (ETL) services, reporting services and enterprise data management strategies
- Establishes, performs, and documents procedures for data preparation including data cleaning, validation, standardization, and analysis
- Partners with management and Information Technology to assess, recommend, and improve software and hardware as it relates to Data Analytics
- Develops, updates, and supports the overall data vision and strategy in partnership with business teams and other stakeholders
- Works with multiple database business intelligence tools developing new reports focusing on platforms related to Power BI
- Creates, runs and/or monitors daily process updates from/to various third-party vendors and resolves any systematic issues
Other
- Hybrid Position based out of Menomonie, WI and will require some onsite work.
- Must reside in either Wisconsin or Minnesota
- Bachelor’s degree in business/related field or equivalent years of experience
- Project Management skills are a plus along with experience in banking or credit union environments
- Trains and mentors Data Analysts to support the development of data products and services. Provides feedback to IT Leadership as needed
