Banner Solutions is looking to maintain and enhance its SQL Server footprint and improve data integrations between systems to support its growth and expansion.
Requirements
- Advanced skills in SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS
- Exposure to Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, and Power BI
- Understands overall data systems architectural and integration methodologies
- Uses DevOps to maintain code base and thrive in a modified agile project environment
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the development and administration of the Banner SQL Server ecosphere
- Can create and maintain legacy SSIS packages and SSRS reports
- Supports conversion of SSRS Reports to Power BI
- Familiar with Azure Data factory and modern data lake loading methodologies
- Designs, develops, and maintains databases by writing complex SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data while optimizing performance
- Creates and manages data integrations between systems in the Banner ecosphere and provides data access for 3rd party solution providers
- Identifies areas where Banner can use leading edge cloud services and assists in developing the Data pillar of the IT Roadmap
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or related field of study; an Associate’s Degree and 2 Years of Experience in a Systems Analyst/Administrator Role; or 8+ years progressive experience in a Systems Analyst/Administrator Role
- Understands and adheres to standardized documentation methods using DevOps, Teams, and Jira
- Has a high emotional intelligence and can communicate effectivity from the Shipping Dock to Senior Management
- Ability to Discern problems and quickly apply solutions for any possible downtime
- Displays Dependability and Flexibility when in a high stress situation
