Booz Allen is looking to hire a Data Engineer to develop and deploy pipelines and platforms that gather data from disparate sources and organize it, helping to grow Booz Allen's DataOps capabilities and support senior leadership with reporting and analytics for enterprise future planning.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience writing software in programming languages, including Python, with object oriented programming, and with source control and collaboration software, including Git or Atlassian tools
- 3+ years of experience with extract, transform, load (ETL) operations, including on-premises or cloud infrastructure
- Experience managing data objects and data pipelines across multiple environments such as Dev, Test, and Prod
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational database technologies, including SQL or SparkSQL
- Knowledge of automation and scripting on Linux or Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI and best practices for preparing data for data visualization tools
- Knowledge of data modeling techniques, such as star schema, snowflake, and normalized or denormalized structures, to support analytics and machine learning

- Ability to leverage AI assisted tools to debug, optimize, and accelerate the software development lifecycle
