Piper Companies is seeking a Data Engineer to collect, process, and analyze data to uncover insights and support informed decision-making within an organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working hands on with SQL and Power BI.
- Advanced understanding of GCP, AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding Python
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize complex data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation and analysis.
- Work with analysts and associates to process and analyze information.
- Create process flows for business procedures and evaluate potential system enhancements.
Other
- hybrid 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) in Cary, NC
- Identify improvement opportunities by collaborating with business leaders and users.
- Lead discussions with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and pain points.
- Ability to work with multiple projects at once
- Communicate and document requirements from business stakeholders and technical leaders
- Must be able to hold a security clearance in the US
