Requirements
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Python, Java or Scala
- Understanding the concepts of data lake, data warehousing including Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and data modeling
- Familiarity with cloud-based storage and computing platforms such as Azure, and AWS
- Must have Neo4J and Anzograph experience
- Proficiency in version control systems such as Git and understanding the concepts of branching, merging, and tagging
- Knowledge of distributed computing technologies like Hive, Hadoop and Spark
- Advanced understanding of database schemas
Responsibilities
- Perform data engineering associated with synchronizing new and existing systems for DIA
- Perform data engineering associated with database pipelines and schemas for a multimillion-dollar program that supports DoD and the IC
- Design and implement data lake, data warehousing including Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and data modeling
- Work with cloud-based storage and computing platforms such as Azure, and AWS
- Utilize Neo4J and Anzograph
- Use version control systems such as Git and understand the concepts of branching, merging, and tagging
- Integrate data from various sources such as web services, APIs and file systems
Other
- A Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience OR a PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of the degree requirement
- TS/SCI with polygraph or ability to obtain SCI and a polygraph
