540 is looking to develop a data transformation and workflow solution for an impactful part of the U.S. Army by deploying and operating a replacement for a legacy financial system to the cloud
Requirements
- Well-versed in Python
- Experience with building and managing data pipelines
- Experience with consuming data via APIs
- Experience with GitLab
- Experience with AWS cloud services
- Experience with AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, AWS S3, Cloudwatch Logs
- Pytest and testing best practices
Responsibilities
- deploy and operate a replacement for a legacy financial system to the cloud
- innovate new cloud-first solutions for the U.S. Army's data management ecosystem
- design the system with architectural thinking and programming skills
- work on data pipeline cloud components, security, governance, and overall successful delivery of working software
- build and manage data pipelines
- consume data via APIs
- maintain data pipelines with tables containing over a billion rows / records
Other
- US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related engineering field (preferred)
- 2+ years of related experience
- Occasional travel may be required (3-4x annually)
- Ability to work with multiple teams
