Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer to design and automate data pipelines to collect, process, and enrich data for analytics and reporting for a client in Chicago, IL.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience using libraries like Pandas, SQLAlchemy, and NumPy for data processing and transformation.
- Expertise in SQL for querying and performance tuning, along with experience connecting to databases (preferably AWS Redshift) and automating data workflows.
- 3–5 years of experience in data engineering and automation projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated data pipelines to collect, process, and enrich data for analytics and reporting.
- Write efficient Python scripts using libraries like Pandas, SQLAlchemy, and NumPy for data transformation and cleaning.
- Connect to and manage databases (preferably AWS Redshift) to extract, process, and optimize data workflows.
- Implement and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and performance tuning across multiple sources.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Ensure data quality and governance throughout the data lifecycle to maintain accuracy and compliance.
