Holiday Management is seeking to build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers analytics, reporting, and operational insights across the organization
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, custom pipelines, or API integrations
- Proven experience designing and optimizing database structures and queries
- Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and transformation concepts
- Ability to troubleshoot issues across pipelines, integrations, and database environments
- Experience with database development
- Experience with data engineering
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from systems such as POS, GP, Paycom, Ecotrak, Paytronix, Samsara, Store Accounting Software, WDMS, and others
- Automate data ingestion processes and monitor pipelines for failures or anomalies
- Develop and maintain the company KPI library to support consistent, reliable reporting
- Collaborate with internal application owners and third-party vendors to maintain secure, dependable data exchanges
- Create and optimize SQL views, stored procedures, and database structures for analysts and BI tools
- Monitor and maintain database performance, including indexing, partitioning, storage, and permission management
- Troubleshoot and tune inefficient SQL queries across applications and reporting tools
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, database development, or similar roles
- Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with both technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to work on site
