Holiday Management is seeking to build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers analytics, reporting, and operational insights across the organization

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, custom pipelines, or API integrations
  • Proven experience designing and optimizing database structures and queries
  • Strong understanding of data quality, validation, and transformation concepts
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues across pipelines, integrations, and database environments
  • Experience with database development
  • Experience with data engineering

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from systems such as POS, GP, Paycom, Ecotrak, Paytronix, Samsara, Store Accounting Software, WDMS, and others
  • Automate data ingestion processes and monitor pipelines for failures or anomalies
  • Develop and maintain the company KPI library to support consistent, reliable reporting
  • Collaborate with internal application owners and third-party vendors to maintain secure, dependable data exchanges
  • Create and optimize SQL views, stored procedures, and database structures for analysts and BI tools
  • Monitor and maintain database performance, including indexing, partitioning, storage, and permission management
  • Troubleshoot and tune inefficient SQL queries across applications and reporting tools

Other

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, database development, or similar roles
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to work on site
