Advanced Composites is looking to solve the problem of enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization by shaping their data architecture and ensuring data is structured, integrated, and accessible for analytics, reporting, and machine learning.
Requirements
- Expertise in SQL, Python, Snowflake, ETL/ELT tools, and Azure cloud services.
- Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data security.
- Experience with Power BI, Azure Purview, and SAP S/4 (preferred).
- Expertise in data architecture and modeling.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise data architecture strategies and frameworks.
- Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Define and support data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
- Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time processing.
- Optimize data models and databases for performance and scalability.
- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Stay current with trends in data management, Power BI, and cloud technologies.
Other
- Collaborate with business leaders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide SAP report expertise and guide users on data access.
- Support safety, environmental, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- Occasional travel between Sidney, OH and Nashville, TN.
