Operational Effectiveness Consulting for Guidehouse
Requirements
- Experience with common data science tools, such as R, Python, MATLAB; with a heavy emphasis on Python
- Demonstratable experience in at least one statistical programming language (i.e., C-Sharp, Python, R)
- Understanding of data visualization tools (MS Power BI, Tableau, Qlik etc.); with a heavy emphasis on Power BI
- Strong understanding and experience working with cloud infrastructure services like Azure, Amazon Web Services & Google Cloud; with a heavy emphasis on AWS
- Experience with web applications, RPA orchestration, cloud architecture, data API integration, data analytics, AI, big data platforms, and automating machine learning components
- Experience implementing and automating models created by data science teams (i.e. Spark, Scala, Hive, Python, R, etc.)
- Experience working with different query languages (i.e. PL-SQL, T-SQL)
Responsibilities
- Leading a team of developers and participating in analysis of actual and predictable interacting operational activities of business
- Devising modeling and measuring techniques
- Utilizing mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques
- Demonstrating a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts within the Data Science/Operations Research field
- Providing consultation to technical solutions over a wide range of complex difficult problems
- Collecting, organizing, managing, and processing client’s sources of information and enhancing data collection procedures
- Performing verification, validation, and fault detection of data models
Other
- Active Secret Federal or DoD security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Minimum Fourteen (14) or more years of data engineer, data analytics or data science professional experience
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent
- Ability to stand-up and manage an integrated software development and machine learning environment
